Grand PrixView – Hungary
Only one week after the German Grand Prix, the next one is on the schedule. The Hungaroring, near Budapest, is the host of the Hungarian Grand Prix. Scott Wilde leads the Challenge series, with a marginal 2 points infront of Drazen Cokor. Stuart Fields is still on top of Sprint Championship ladder, extending his lead over Malcolm Rice in Germany to 7 points.
The Track
The Hungaroring is 4.381 meters long, which makes it the third shortest track on the race calender this season. Only Monaco and Sao Paolo are shorter. The track features 15 corners, 9 of them bend to the right. The Challenge race will count 70 laps, whilst the Sprint race is 35 laps. The broadcast commences Saturday at 18:45 GMT and Sunday the broadcast will go live at 09:00 GMT.
Summerbreak
The Hungarian Grand Prix will be the last race before the summer break. 4 weeks after the race on the Hungaroring the next race is scheduled in Belgium. The teams will look forward to this break and take some well deserved time off. But before this break, all of them are looking forward to the races this weekend!
